Meteorologist Nick Kosir, better known as The Rapping Weatherman, has gained national attention for his accurate and entertaining forecasts.
Kosir first rapped the weather in July of 2009. His effort to spice up the monotonous Southeast Texas forecast turned him into an overnight YouTube sensation. By the time Kosir had rapped his fourth forecast, he was getting national attention from celebrities Ellen Degeneres and Ryan Seacrest. His raps have also made it to the homepage of AOL.com, Bing.com, MSN.com and others. Aside from making waves in the social media world, Kosir has been featured on TV shows across the nation, such as: FOX's The O'Reilly Factor, MSNBC's The Dylan Ratigan Show and Inside Edition.
